Pacific Coast Flyers is located within the Western Flight FBO, Palomar Airport, Carlsbad, CA. Western Flight is located to the right of the tower, straight in from the airport entrance.

Club Briefings Club briefings are held once each weekend on Sundays at 1:00 PM at Palomar Airport (CRQ), Carlsbad, CA.

Check the Club Calendar for the next one.Any questions, call the operations office. 760/431-9329. (See Airport information for directions and office location) and they last about an hour. Afterwards a checkout by one of the Club approved CFI's is required for your final acceptance.

Please bring photo copies of your current medical, flight review, drivers license and pilot certificate as we well need these for our files. Thank you.
Area Airports Located along the North San Diego County coast at Palomar-McClellan Airport. Other greater area airports to the south are Montgomery Field (San Diego. MYF) and Gillespie Feild (Santee. SEE). North of CRQ is Oceanside Municipal Airport (OKB), Fallbrook Community Airpark (L18) and to the east is Ramona Airport (RMN). Oceanside and Ramona were previously listed as L32 and L39 respectivly.

Instructors Available

We require the all CFIs instructing in Club aircraft be current Club members in good standing. Some restrictions apply such as unique checkout requirements for specific aircraft before you can act as PIC of that aircraft. ALL CFI's must meet a minimum # of hours in the type of aircraft in order to give instruction Club aircraft. Requirements are listed in the Operations Rules.
